Hospitality!!

What a perfectly wonderful windy day to talk about hospitality!!! Brrrrrrr......it's beginning to feel a lot like Thanksgiving!!! Here's a fun tradition to begin at your home this season. Place a kernel of dried corn on each plate-pass a little bowl or basket around and as each person drops their kernel into it they must say at least one thing that they are thankful for!!Kids and adults alike love this tradition. As your guests leave give them each a hostess gift to remember.....


 GRUNGY CORN ON THE COB.......1.)Take a dried ear of corn-2.)dip or brush(with a toothbrush or small paint brush)in scented wax(you can use a wax tart from walmart or dollar store)3).then dust with cinnamon,cloves, coffee grounds(any type of spice you have handy)-4).tie a length of raffita or ribbon around the middle- 5.)attach a thankful saying or scripture.
This is a fun gift that the ladies can use over and over again in their decorating around this season!!Have fun:)
